Dewberry Jam
Dewberry grows wild on low bushes that thrive on Gotland’s calcium rich soil. The berries are related to blackberries, but are matt blue in color with a powdery looking hue.
Locally, this jam is served with saffron pancakes. Together they are a long held tradition here on the island.
Ingredients:
Gotland dewberry, sugar, thickener (citrus pectin), preservative (sodium benzoate). Fruit content – 57g/100g jam.
